Canada is a multicultural country; so really, there’s no person who’s really a Canadian. As most people who live here have different mixes like: Ukrainian, Polish, Irish, British, and French. But nationality was never an issue to make or create their own delicious “Canadian” foods. Here are some famous Canadian foods:
POUTINE
Poutine is one of my personal favourites, it’s fries with cheese curds and gravy. It’s very delicious, fulfilling, and greasy! If you visit Canada, you can find poutine almost everywhere as fast food restaurant sells them too. I recommend eating them with Hamburgers, YUMMY!

NANAIMO BARS
Nanaimo bars are a must have! It consists of a wafer crumb-based layer, topped by a layer of light vanilla or custard flavoured butter icing, which is covered in chocolate made from melted chocolate squares. Perfect dessert if you’re visiting Canada! PHOTO CREDIT: tumblr
Maple syrup has got to be one of Canada’s trademarks! This is probably one of the healthiest among the foods I shared. I know this is not a cuisine but maple syrup can be partnered with almost anything (I guess not everything, unless you’re Buddy the Elf) like pancakes, French toast, peanut butter sandwich, and many more!
