Places I'd Take You To in Australia

I can’t say that I have been here in Australia for quite a long time now just like those other Filipinos here who can’t even talk Filipino because apparently, they’ve “been here for too long”. However! I can be your tour guide when you come here because I have been to heaps of places! Coming from a family of impulsive people, my family and I just decide to go somewhere without even planning it and because of those experiences, I have seen heaps of lovely places that I would love to share with yous!

Of course this would come first! It’s the nearest and one of my personal favourite places! Why? Because it is the city, duh. I personally like busy places and if you do too, then this is the place to be! I can hear you saying “this kid is a retard! I want to rest, not see busy people babbling on their phones!” now, wait up! I am not yet done! The city has massive parks and shops so that’s the place to do some shopping and unwind. Also, the city has that bookshop wherein you can sit down and stay all day to read their books! It’s a great place, you see. If you come to Brissie and you suddenly want to take my advice and go here, can you please pack the things below? Why? Because you need them!!!
That is all. You don’t need lots of things because I swear you’ll be crying if you have a heavy backpack with you. Walking around the city is really tiring and you will blame me for having blisters! But it is worth it.

The beach! Who wouldn’t like the beach? If you are looking for beaches to go to whilst you are in the Southern part of Queensland, this is the place to be: Gold Coast! This place is my most favourite place out of all the places I have been at. Why? Because everything is there. Surfers’ Paradise which is the beach where you can buy yummo gelato, do heaps of shopping, see tall buildings, and this is the only place where shops are open 24/7! Also, Robina shopping centre which is a massive shop is also there! Add Harbour town to your places-I’m-gonna-go-visit to your shopping list, too! Also, Gold Coast is the home of Australia’s three most popular theme parks: Movieworld, Dreamworld, and Seaworld.
So yeah, The Gold Coast is the place to be for tourists who are looking forward to unwind. Shopping, beach, guys and girls, what are you waiting for! Carpe diem! Seize the day and enjoy Queensland!

Want to go to the outback? This is the place to be! This is the place where you can do paragliding, and see worms with glowing bums! It’s cool, right? Mt Tamborine is the perfect place to unwind If you don’t want to be exposed to too much people. You can also go to Oxford where they have the best coffees and cute littol shops, or if you want, you can just go to the Gallery Walk! It is along Long Road, a street devoted to art galleries, cafes, and souvenir shops. If you have time and you want to have a great barbecue, you can try and go to Tamborine Mountain! A great roadtrip, you see.
You have all these things? Go inside the car and go for a drive now! This place is cheap because you can bring your own food! You just need money for petrol and you’re good to go!

If you are someone like me who is a student and can’t go really far because your parents will be mad at you/you might get lost, then you can go to Fortitude Valley! A good 5-10 minute drive from the city will take you to this the old city with heaps of Asian things! You can get bargains and some really great Asian food here for a really small amount of money! Fortitude Valley is actually called ‘Chinatown’ and for me, it is actually like our very own ‘Binondo’! Take away the horses, of course.
